My siblings and I all faint. Some of our kids do, too. We had always been told that this condition, syncope, was benign; for many people that may be true. But my heart ❤️ stopping for 25 seconds seemed like a big deal to my doctors.

When reports emerged that Lily Safra had passed away, I knew I recognized the name, though I wasn't sure why. As it turns out, she was for many years one of the top 200 art collectors in the world. Per Rita, August 2022
"3 years ago I suffered a full blown anaphylactic reaction after getting off my Peloton (exercise induced anaphylaxis, MCAS, HaTs). I went on to decline and ended up on home oxygen for 6 months; walking across the room or climbing stairs was a challenge. I was devastated that I was unable to exercise. Cycling has always been a huge part of my life. Yesterday, I completed a 45 minute boot camp workout on my Peloton. I will never return to where I once was on the leaderboard, but for me, this is a huge accomplishment! I am elated!"
