2025, February 21 Ashland Keychain Library 

Ashland, Virginia, a city in our county, has plenty of quirky things that make it unique: I mean, seriously, it calls itself the "Center of the Universe"!

It's well known for its trains and the Secretariat statue. And it's Christmas tree is still up, 8 weeks after the big day.

It's also where I found the Ashland Keychain Library--a cabinet much like a Little Free Library, a Little Free Pantry, or a Little Seed Library. They suggest that you "Swap or take a keychain, or leave a trinket." I have left trinkets in it a couple times; presumably someone changes donated trinkets into a keychain.
