Having lived in Jacksonville, FL, we've had multiple reasons to visit Savannah (and we have friends that live nearby). So when we moved to Richmond, we got used to staying in Savannah on our trips down to Florida...it's about as far as we can drive in one day. Like Jacksonville and Richmond, Savannah is a River City. As of today, each of these places still seems to be up and running.
